I met Matao in January 2023 and he walked me through his quote -- it was by far the best value of the three I gathered. I asked to see his work and he gave me addresses of other driveways he had completed in the area -- they looked great. In January, he said that they would start the last week of March and they were able to get going the first week of April -- impressive foresight and accuracy given how supply chain is jacked up these days. The concrete driveway took about a day to destroy and take away. The brick pavers (Belgard) took about two days to lay. After a couple of days of letting the concrete dry and avoiding poor weather, they sanded and sealed (twice) the pavers. We waited a few more days to drive on them. The whole process took about 10 days, which I thought was impressive given the poor weather at points. Paul was wonderful to work with. He was thoughtful and helpful -- answered questions and was reliable. There was a broken irrigation pipe underneath the pavers that he capped/fixed for us and help us think through other irrigation issues. He went above and beyond. The compliments we've gotten from the neighbors have been amazing -- I couldn't recommend Matao and his team more.

Met foreman Paul at the recommendation of our very satisfied neighbor. He and boss Antonio were quick to measure and quote on my project, the very same day. So many other companies say they'll show up but never do so I was pleasantly surprised from the start. The Matao team professionally site-prepped and installed about 300 sf of a winding walkway and repaired another 300 sf of existing paver that had slid out place because the original installer didn't use a cement to anchor. Mateo Brick Pavers did a great job removing our old driveway and sidewalk and installing pavers. They promptly came out and gave us a fair estimate. Once we were ready, they did the job as scheduled with no surprises. The quality of the workmanship was outstanding. The team was easy to work with as we had a few minor tweaks and they communicated with us continuously to make sure we were all on the same page.
